Program Overview

Reducing the imbalances at the basis of long-standing chronic conditions often requires several months of natural health care interventions. Your program at The Raj includes in-residence treatments and a complete set of Ayurveda recommendations for use at home. This multi-modality is the most comprehensive natural health care program for chronic disorders available today.

The Raj offers 5-21 day, in-residence, Maharishi Rejuvenation Therapy (MRT) programs that include a preparation period before you arrive and a comprehensive recommendation program that is followed after you leave. The price is inclusive of standard treatments, room, board, Ayurveda Health consultations, guest services and daily educational classes.

Following are the details of the four-step program for chronic disorders available at The Raj:

1. Application of the Principles of Ayurveda Diet and Daily Routine

Health is won or lost in how we live day-to-day life. When you arrive at The Raj you receive a booklet that condenses the essence of Ayurveda diet and daily routine information. The booklet provides a wealth of information that can be applied in day-to-day life to start immediately gaining benefits and prepare yourself to get maximum from your in-residence program. 2. Home Preparation for In-residence Treatments

When you call to schedule your in-residence stay, our scheduler asks you some health related questions that allows our Ayurveda Health Consultant to individualize a home program that is followed for several weeks before you arrive at The Raj. This individualized program starts to improve digestion and eliminate impurities to prepare you to gain maximum benefit from your in-residence treatments.

3. In-residence Consultations and Treatment Program

The initial consultation includes:

1. A comprehensive Ayurveda evaluation of the balance and imbalance within your body
2. An introduction to the principles of Maharishi Ayurveda
3. Individualized education for implementing your home program after you leave

Guests staying for 5 days receive two Ayurveda Health consultations. Guests staying longer than 5 days receive more Ayurveda Health consultations, depending on the length of their stay.

Treatments

Each day of your 5-21 day stay at The Raj you receive 2-3 hours of Maharishi Rejuvenation Therapy^SM treatments. These treatments are the most powerful therapies in Maharishi Ayurveda and help to cleanse the body of toxins and impurities that are creating the imbalances at the basis of your condition. 4. Post-treatment Home Recommendation Program

Your Ayurveda Health Consultants at The Raj will provide you with a comprehensive set of recommendations you can use at home to stabilize the gains you made during your stay at The Raj and continue to progress toward better health.

Optional Programs

In addition to these programs The Raj makes available two unique and highly recommended programs for aiding the healing process.

1. Instruction in the Transcendental Meditation^® technique:
   Your in-residence stay provides an ideal time to go through the seven-step instruction in the TM technique. During your visit our highly trained TM instructors can teach you the TM technique and meet with you several days in a row for verification and validation of your experience. Your in-residence instruction gets you off to an excellent start with your TM practice and we help you get in contact with the local TM program center in your area for thorough follow-up to your instruction.
2. Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology^® consultations:
   Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology consultations are offered by our resident experts who use specific Vedic vibrations to restore order to the physiology by enlivening the inner intelligence of the body. Research has shown this unique technology has been able to bring some level of relief to the majority of participants even when they have had long standing chronic conditions.
